<p>Delerat BeVelor knows his role in life. As the bastard nephew of the king, he is supposed to be thankful for the opportunities presented to him. He’s destined to spend his days working to repay his uncle’s so-called generosity.</p>
<p>The one thing Del wants for himself is Roena, a childhood friend who becomes a palace maid. He’s loved her for years, but has never dared to admit his feelings. He wants to carve a place for her in his life, but why would she ever choose him, when his magically alluring half-incubus brother is an alternative?</p>
